Attochem 2021 poster prize awarded to Evangelos Karamatskos
11 March, 2021
Dr. Evangelos Thomas Karamatskos was awarded one of two poster prizes at the Attochem & SMART-X Winter School on Attosecond Technologies 2021 (online, 8.–11. March 2021). Currently, Evangelos is a postdoctoral fellow in the Controlled Molecule Imaging (CMI) Group and works on advanced imaging of ultrafast chemical dynamics using laser-induced electron diffraction in the molecular frame.
His poster "Toward Ultrafast Molecular Imaging in the Molecular Frame", shown on the left, was chosen by the participants of the conference as best poster. He received a certificate and a prize of €250 sponsored by Coherent.
Congratulations to Evangelos! We look forward to further progress on the imaging of chemical dynamics.
