Jolijn Onvlee receives Dutch physics outreach award

07 April, 2017

Every year, the Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde (NTvN), the Dutch Journal of Physics, by the Nederlandse Natuurkundige Vereniging (Netherlands' Physical Society) has a contest for PhD students and recently graduated postdocs to write an article on their dissertation that should be understandable for a broad public – the Dutch people interested in physics.

This year, Jolijn Onvlee won the second prize for her article ‘Molecuulbotsingen ontrafeld’ (Unraveling molecular collisions), detailing the results from her PhD work at the University of Nijmegen for the general public.

On 7. April 2017 Jolijn received the prize at FYSICA 2017 in Groningen, a one-day annual conference of the Netherlands’ Physical Society for all physicists (students, teachers, physicists working in industry, academia and public service) in the Netherlands. Congratulations from the whole CMI Group!
