Matthew Robinson awarded "Trusted Reviewer" status
22 March, 2022
Dr. Matthew Robinson has been awarded "Trusted Reviewer" status from the Institute of Physics (IOP), an honour reserved for the top 15 percent of reviewers of IOP work.
According to the IOP, this award is normally granted to those who go through the IOP's reviewer training courses, however, due to his delivery of "exceptionally detailed [reports that] add valuable insight when informing the Editor’s decision" for journals such as Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Matthew has been granted this status immediately without this training prerequisite.
This is apt recognition for the dual-national, British-Irish scientist, as the the IOP is "the professional body and learned society for physics in the UK and Ireland, inspiring people to develop their knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of physics."
Dr. Robinson is a project leader and a postdoctoral fellow in the Controlled Molecule Imaging (CMI) Group at the Hamburg Centre of Ultrafast Imaging, working on advanced imaging of ultrafast chemical dynamics using laser-induced electron diffraction in the molecular frame.
Congratulations to Matthew on his award, and we wish him good luck with his ongoing research here in Hamburg and his continuing reviewing efforts.
