Dr. Sebastian Trippel has been awarded the 'Zdenek Herman MOLEC Young Scientist Prize' at the 'European Conference on the Dynamics of Molecular Systems' (MOLEC 2022) for his work on "Electric-field control of molecular clusters and the imaging of their chemical dynamics". Established in 2016, the prestigious prize is named for the pioneering scientist Zdeněk Herman (1934-2021) and is awarded to the top young scientists in the field of molecular dynamics. At the same event, the 'MOLEC Senior Prize' was awarded to Professor Javier Aoiz from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain for his seminal contributions to the theoretical description of elementary chemical reactions.
